The Jook's On You
This is a film about a rock and roll band that nearly slipped through the cracks of time - JOOK! Thanks to a Hartford, Connecticut music festival promoter requesting that they headline his TNT Festival, a whole new generation of music fans can now appreciate their groundbreaking and influential sound and image.
With a little bit of mad drama and hysterical laughter, this is the story of JOOK, their unlikely reunion, and glorious first gig since 1974! Not to mention a few visits from Joe Elliott (Def Leppard) to set one or two things straight.
About the Director
Ashley Kimmet
Ashley has been lighting films and television in Hollywood, California for the past 20 years. "The Jook's On You" is his directorial debut as a Documentary Filmaker. It has been a project that has pushed his creative ability to learn all aspects of filmmaking from preproduction to production and finally post production where he learned the value of sound and video editing to create the film.
